What We Managed

We successfully managed the remediation of a common podium courtyard as well as the nearby planter boxes causing water ingress into the below carpark basement. Our structured approach ensured proper diagnosis and long-term waterproofing solutions.

Removed large trees from planter boxes, removed old bitumen waterproofing, created proper falls, installed high-quality waterproofing to podium and planter boxes, and reinstated planter boxes with soil for landscaping.

Final Inspection

Verified waterproofing effectiveness and completed defects checks.

Uncovering Hidden Issues

Original waterproofing was bitumen and had to be ground back. Issue with glazing channel where pool glazing windows are located. Common gym remained open during works.

Introduced a hob to allow drainage and minimize risk for the glazing channel. Introduced other modifications once further unknowns were discovered. Leak detection system was installed to identify any compromises before pod/pavers and soil was installed.

Scheduled works efficiently to maintain residence access while keeping facilities operational.
